CSVRA Releases Preliminary General Plan and EIR for Public Review – submit comments by June 8, 2015 deadline
Citing the direct impacts of the planned expansion of Carnegie SVRA into their rural neighborhood, store people in over 50 people in rural Livermore along Tesla Road have joined to form the Tesla Road Residents Alliance. Carnegie SVRA plans to expand and open 3400 acres of the sensitive Tesla Park land to OHV use. The expansion would extend into the Livermore Valley and add an entrance across from Eagle’s Run Road, resuscitation less than 8 miles from Livermore City Hall and the only Bay Area access along Tesla Road. In addition to the loss of the beautiful open space and range lands near their homes, viagra Tesla Road residents are concerned about traffic, safety, water quality, air pollution, noise, dust and loss of peace and quite that a nearly 5,000 acre OHV park on the edge of their rural community would create.
Following is a photo of Tule elk ranging on the Tesla Park land nearest Livermore. OHV use will push away the elk, just like OHV use has done in the existing Carnegie SVRA. Protecting Tule elk habitat near Livermore is one more reason why Tesla should be preserved.

Carnegie SVRA released on April 23, prothesis
2015 the Preliminary General Plan and Draft Environmental Impact Report for the existing SVRA and expansion into Tesla for a 45 day public comment period. The comment deadline is June 8, remedy
2015.
Incredibly, viagra the Draft EIR concludes that there are NO significant impacts from ongoing operation at Carnegie AND from opening 3,100 plus acres to all types of OHV recreation and NO mitigation is required beyond General Plan guidelines and best management practices. Violation of Air Quality standards was the only area impact found to be potentially significant, but there was no feasible mitigation.
Carnegie SVRA has structured the Preliminary General Plan and Draft EIR as a vague non-specific document to try to gain “policy” approval. Having not been able to get environmental approval to open the Tesla park land (referred to as the Alameda – Tesla expansion area by the state) in two prior EIR attempts in 2000 and 2004, Carnegie SVRA is now trying to get their foot in the door with “policy” approval to open Tesla to OHV use and then, based on the vagueness of the General Plan and DEIR, be able to expand OHV use over time in piecemeal fashion, never completing required environmental assessment of the entire project and its direct, indirect and cumulative impacts and never mitigating its impacts through avoidance.
We need your help to submit comments on the Preliminary General Plan and DEIR by the June 8, 2015 deadline.
