In honor of Native American Heritage Month

Indigenous groups and representatives are working to protect Tesla as a Reserve in order to best preserve specific archeological features and sacred sites AND the entire Tribal Cultural Landscape that Indigenous people used and that holds the specific sites – one does not exist without the other. Local leaders have given Tesla the name Hismet Warep Horsetka¹, meaning Sacred Earth in Harmony in the Chochenyo language of the Ohlone people of the East Bay. And that is what Tesla is – Sacred Earth. Help us keep it that way and establish Tesla as a Reserve.
