To permanently preserve Tesla Park’s sensitive native landscape and provide low-impact passive public access and education, Tesla needs to be a Reserve which makes protecting natural and cultural resources a priority.

Now that Tesla Park is protected from damaging OHV use, there’ll be a planning process to establish Tesla as a unit of the State Park system.

Now that Tesla Park is permanently protected from damaging motorized recreation, the next step is to establish Tesla Park as a State Natural and Cultural Reserve.

Thank you to all of the Friends of Tesla Park for your commitment and years of work to permanently preserve Tesla Park with no motorized recreation.
