To preserve Tesla, local public agencies in Alameda County will pay State Parks with funds already in hand to place a permanent conservation easement on Tesla. This is a Win-Win.
Tesla Park is at the narrowest choke point of the Critical Linkage Habitat Corridor through the northern Diablo Range. It must be protected.
Tesla Park is a pristine biodiverse wildland. There has never been any OHV recreation in Tesla. Allowing Tesla to be converted to OHV recreation would be a travesty.
There is overwhelming support for preserving Tesla Park from local community groups in the East Bay and beyond.
