Return Funds to State Parks
To preserve Tesla, local public agencies in Alameda County will pay State Parks with funds already in hand to place a permanent conservation easement on Tesla. This is a Win-Win.

Critical Linkage Habitat Corridor
Tesla Park is at the narrowest choke point of the Critical Linkage Habitat Corridor through the northern Diablo Range. It must be protected.

Travesty
Tesla Park is a pristine biodiverse wildland. There has never been any OHV recreation in Tesla. Allowing Tesla to be converted to OHV recreation would be a travesty.

There is overwhelming support for preserving Tesla Park from local community groups in the East Bay and beyond.

Tesla Park should be protected as an educational site for school children and university researchers. That is Tesla’s best use.
